Background Selector

Several people have mentioned that due to disability or otherwise, they find the white text on black background that's used on this site difficult to read. Personally I like the look and feel of the web site, but I also recognise there's a valid reason for either changing the look or for providing an alternative.

Here, you can chose between the traditional look or a format that's easier on the eye. Note that some graphics may retain a black fringe and a couple of images will render strangely when using the EasyRead version as they were originally rendered with a dark background in mind. Some fonts may be a little too bright but the vast majority of the site will be perfectly readable using the new format.

Simply click on the version you wish to use. Your computer will remember which setting you picked and will automatically use it the next time you visit.
